Really, Mika, Gay? You don’t say.
File this one under the Department of Duh.
Brit Pop sensation Mika reportedly comes out in the September issue of Instinct magazine. Here is what the singer, arguably best known for songs like “Grace Kelly” and “Relax (Take It Easy”) as well my personal favorites “Billy Brown” and “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful),” had to say to Instinct.
“If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah,” the Lebanese-born star, 28, told the magazine. “Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life.”
This isn’t the first time Mika has addressed his sexuality but is the first time he has described himself as gay and not bisexual. We can only assume that means Mika has given up the poon.
