Alex Berry & Jinkx Monsoon Are BACK With 3rd Installment Of “Drag Becomes Him”

Superstar Jinkx Monsoon and comedy partner Nick Sahoyah get cozy in “Drag Becomes Him 3” a new video by Alex Berry

One of our favorite local filmmakers and frequent SGS contributor Alex Berry got together with our favorite local celebrity superstar drag queen Jinkx Monsoon last year to make a divine little video called “Drag Becomes Him” which became a minor YouTube sensation showcasing the transformation from Jerick Hoffer to Jinkx Monsoon. That video earned some well deserved attention but it shot into the national spotlight earlier this year after Mr. Hoffer/Ms Monsoon began appearing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race Season Five” and quickly became America’s next drag queen darling. Alex and Jinkx made a second installment last fall that also earned praise and now they’re back with Part Three of the opus and the first to be filmed after the debut of Drag Race and Jinkx’s increased visibility and stardom.

Part Three features Jinkx once again getting ready for a gig and reflecting on her post fame career and how she dealt with the negative criticisms she received from judges and other contestants. You’ll also be treated to some candid talk about the big attributes of Miss Alaska Thunderfuck and how Jinkx now relies on her team, including best friend/assistant Kenneth Lee to help her prepare for performances.

There’s also some frank footage involving Jinkx getting “tucked” and some lovely cuddling and spiritual singing with her comedy partner/friend Nick Sahoyah who plays her son in the “Monsoon Season” video series.
