Halloween is TOMORROW, Friday, October 31 but the scurry fun kicks off tonight, Thursday, October 30 with one huge traditional event and two fun bar events all celebrating The Season of the Bitch Witch.
BUMP! is the biggie for the night….the uber popular Halloween party and fundraiser for Gay City Health Project is back for the 98th year and once again, it’s being produced at Neigbours Nightclub. The headliners/hosts for 2014 are hometown “gurl” BenDeLaCreme and the Belle of the Ball (circa 1814) the Lady Bunny. The evil on the outside/inside Markos Sisters will be spreading social diseases holiday cheer and the musical guests include Superthreat (aka Nark and Ammoania) and Jimi Jaxon.
AND, there’s the bigass costume contest which includes a $1000 prize. Hopefully, the same 4 people who show up every year with the same damn cool (but, we’ve already SEEEEEEN it!) costumes don’t pout when they’re disqualified….dumbasses.
Meanwhile, over at Purr, they’re teaming up with Equal Rights Washington for their big Halloween hoopla which of course also includes a pricy costume contest. Nicely, the Purr event is officially done by midnight so you can bop back and forth between Purr and Bump.
