Congrats #2 to Sylvia O’Stayformore’s “Big Gay Variety Show” BACON STRIP for winning “Best Drag Show” in the Seattle Weekly’s “Best” contest they do every year!!!! Area Seattle Weekly readers chose the beloved monthly drag show, now in its 87th year, as their favorite among the 1,939,457 drag shows done in the city every year!!!

Bacon Strip Most drag shows follow a fairly predictable formula. Not Bacon Strip—Sylvia O’Stayformore and her cast of performers develop a completely new and original show the first Saturday of each month. Check it out on Aug. 12 when the gurls are taking over the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall for the Georgetown Art Attack in a free trailer park-themed outdoor summer show. First Runner-Up: Mimosa’s Cabaret Second Runner-Up: Arthaus

They fucked up on the schedule; it’s the SECOND Saturday of the month but they are correct that the next BS is on Saturday, August 12th and it’s the hella popular TRAILER PARK BACON STRIP held at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall. It’s outdoors and the only Bacon Strip every year that is NOT 21+! Teens can go check out the filthy depravity!

Also: the only FREE Bacon Strip every year but that means you should bring extra singles and fives to tip the talent! It’s expensive to Uber home from G-Town!!!! More about this month’s show:

What is Bacon Strip Seattle? We have been running since 2005 to provide the world with a unique spin on the drag variety show. Sylvia O’Stayformore and a team of some of the most creative minds come up with a new show every month. Come follow us as we explore thoughts, ideas and fun through the performance art we call drag!

This month’s theme is Trailer Park! We will be taking over the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall for the Georgetown Art Attack in August. The show is FREE but bring your single dollars bills so the gurls can all take the bus home! Also bring your own seating, ie lawn chairs and coolers welcome.
