Minecraft Takes Over MoPop

Minecraft Nerds….PREPARE TO BATTLE AT MINECON EARTH PARTY AT THE MUSEUM OF POP CULTURE!!!!

SEATTLE-For the past few years, Minecraft has hosted super awesome MINECONs throughout the world. But this year, they’re switching it up with MINECON Earth: an interactive show—on the internet! MoPOP is getting into the action with our MINECON Earth Party, a full day devoted to Minecraft with the live stream on the museum’s epic Sky Church screen, a chance to meet Minecraft developers and YouTubers, build battles, tons of gaming, and much more. So leave the comfort of your home (or your yurt, shanty, or castle) and join fellow crafters for this mega unique event.

 

DATE: Saturday, November 18, 2017

TIME: 8:00AM – 5:00PM

TICKETS: $21-$30, All ages. Tickets available for purchase at MoPOP.org

HERE IS JUST A SHOVEL-FULL OF WHAT WE’RE PLANNING:

  • Build Battle(s): Compete with fellow crafters by building an object in a pre-built battle world
  • Minecraft Charades: YouTubers vs. Developers
  • Meet the Minecraft Team: Q&A + Autographs
  • Meet-and-Greet with Some of our Favorite Minecraft Community Members:

               We’re hosting some special guests from the Minecraft YouTube and streaming

               communities, who will be in attendance to mingle with fellow Minecraft players   

               and creators

  • Play, Craft, and Learn with Minecraft: Education Edition
  • Build Factor: 10 contestants. 20 minutes. 1 panel of expert judges.
