His first solo and self-titled album is out today and JAKE SHEARS, front man for the currently dormant gay glam band SCISSOR SISTERS is hitting the road this fall in support of that album, including west coast stops in Seattle and Portland on November 11 & 12 respectively.
Uniquely (or maybe not so uniquely in this day and age), Shears is releasing the album himself without the backing of a major label. Go here for options to purchase a digital download or an actual CD if you’re elderly like me…
The singer/songwriter with Seattle/Washington State roots has had a busy year…early in 2018 he made his theater debut on Broadway starring in the long running Tony Award winning hit Kinky Boots. He also released a best selling memoir, Boys Keep Swinging while finishing up production on the long awaited album including producing videos like the just released, “Big Bushy Moustache”
