For the last few years, Public Health of Seattle and King County conducts a survey during summertime LGBTQ+ Pride season seeking out public help to guide them on how they can improve health issue efforts for our community. Although it’s main focus is on HIV prevention and care efforts, they also seek out ways to improve their efforts for all sexually transmitted infections and substance abuse issues. And, because of recent outbreaks of “Monkey Pox” now being referred to as “Mpox”, that’s another topic of interest for the survey.
It’s also a quick survey and totally anonymous, so no one will be judging you for your frank answers! But, you can also choose to enter a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 new iPads.
It’s open to all LGBTQAI2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Asexual, Intersex, Two-Spirit) people living in Washington State. The survey asks general questions, mostly about “basic demographics (including gender identity), sexual experiences, HIV status and testing, STI screening and diagnoses, PrEP use, and questions regarding knowledge and attitudes related to sexual health.”
