Adorable David Archuleta Offers Up Some “Earthly Delights” This Fall With New Music And A Tour

August 15, 2025• byMichael Strangeways

The humpy little cutie pie and former American Idol heartthrob DAVID ARCHULETA has a new EP out this month, called Earthly Delights and he needs to promote this new music so he’s hitting the road this fall with stops all over the place including Portland, Vancouver BC and Seattle’s Tractor Tavern. David won many gay hearts back in the day when he was just a little closeted cubby bear twink on national TV but after a VERY long coming out process he faced the world as an out gay pop star. And, many many gay men were delighted to welcome him to the fold…

Of course. I mean, he’s a humpy little treat, isn’t he?

ALL about David and his new music and tour down below!

LOS ANGELES, CA – AUGUST 12, 2025 –  Basking in the huge success of his worldwide hit “Crème Brulée” HERE (& the remix HERE) and follow-up single, “Can I Call You” HERE, David Archuleta is ready to share more from his first collection of new music in over five years with his Earthly Delights EP due this Friday, August 15 HERE.

Today, David delivers the sweetest high yet with “Dulce Amor” the third single off of the Earthly Delights EP. A seamless fusion of English and Spanish, “Dulce Amor” is a shimmering pop track that captures the rush of falling hard and fast for someone you just want more of. Building on the playful flirtation of “Crème Brûlée” and the sultry ache of “Can I Call You,” “Dulce Amor” brings the two together—bright, irresistible energy with effortlessly, smooth vocals.

David explains, “It’s that kind of love that just makes life sweeter. It’s romantic, it’s physical, it’s emotional. It’s truly indulgent and leaves you wanting more. I wanted to capture the full flavor of that.”

With its addictive Spanish hook and dynamic vocals, “Dulce Amor” is the ultimate step in David’s evolution into the realm of earthly delights. The entire EP marks a bold, confident chapter, giving fans a ‘good sugar high’ they won’t want to come off of.

David shares about Earthly Delights – “I’m in my indulgence mode when it comes to giving into my sensuality. Something I always villainized before. There’s something sweet about being naughty. And it’s actually helped me to get in touch with more tender vulnerable parts of myself. So Earthly Delights is taking in the pleasures of what I always thought would keep me out of heaven. For the belief I always had of the hell and unhappiness I would experience for giving into my “carnal nature” of sexuality, which is the natural instinct of humans and even what leads to the source of life itself, here’s to a big F you to my old fears and embracing the sensual side and “earthly delights” of how good and rich it feels. It really is the source to life.”

Questioning his beliefs and the indoctrination of his youth, the innately angelic David has fallen out of graces with the church and his family. Traversing through his own personal hells, he finds a connection with his inner strength in the process— and grounding in his own authentic queer identity. David now re-emerges into the realm of earthly delights. Here, he explores the pleasures and pain of terrestrial life: the sweet indulgences of connection and heartbreak, sensuality and physicality. Innocent at the core, but now balanced and rounded by newfound flirtiness and sass, boldness and humor— he’s an embodied being of the earth, here to take in the full spectrum of what life has to offer, with courage, playfulness, and a beaming inner light.
