TransLiterate is a workshop to learn to use language and build embodied compassion to be skillfully inclusive of trans and genderqueer people.

This workshop is specifically for people who already have the intention of love and inclusivity towards trans and genderqueer people. You will learn the latest definitions relating to gender (as well as why those definitions keep changing), how to create an inclusive experience for all genders from pronouns to microaggressions (and what that means, anyways), and how to reach for authentic relationship with trans people.

Expect groundedness, mindfulness, embodiment, storytelling, laughter, and heart connection to hold the space together.

People at many different levels of experience with gender will find helpful information here. If you are trans or nonbinary and do not want to attend the workshop but do want to make sure that Dylan covers a specific topic or issue, please reach out.

True cost of the workshop is $40/person. Sliding scale $20-$60. Please pay what you are actually able to honor the labor of a trans person doing education for myself and our trans siblings’ survival and thriving. Trans and non-binary people can come for free (donations accepted if able) to honor the labor of being in this space, but email me regardless to register.
