For the first YPP event of the year, we’re going to kick off 2019 with a fun night of laughter and libations at Unexpected Productions in Pike’s Place Market! Our attendees can expect a laid-back mixer featuring appetizers, local craft beer and wine, and roughly 100 other of Seattle’s LGBTQ and allied young professionals. At the bottom of the event, Unexpected Productions will treat us to a side-splitting performance including classic improv games, songs, and stories created with audience engagement.

For 35 years, Unexpected Productions Improv has presented shows that are edgy, thought-provoking and always spectacularly funny. You are in for spontaneous laughs and a lot of fun! This show is a wildly unpredictable night of classic improvisational games, techniques, songs, and stories created from the ideas tossed out by YOU…resulting in hilarious storytelling. It’s a show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again.

As the show wraps up at 8:00 pm, guests are welcome to stay for a FREE performance of The Harold – a hilarious improv jam session beginning at 8:30.

Event entry is $15 for GSBA members, $25 for non-members, and $10 for students. An additional $5 is charged for walk-in attendees.

YPP is a community networking group for LGBTQ and allied young professionals. We create an intentional space for young folks of all identities to connect, network, learn, and grow as professionals and people. We are a program of GSBA, North America’s largest LGBTQ and allied chamber of commerce.

YPP is open to all industries, from tech to corporate to the nonprofit sector, all are welcome!

How do you define ‘young professionals’?
Ages 21-39, LGBTQ and allied people. We are welcoming to all identities, backgrounds, and professions.
