The 5th National LGBTQ Health & Longevity Conference

The Fifth National LGBTQ Health and Longevity Conference is an interdisciplinary and translational practice and research conference bringing together health professionals, human service and aging-related providers, researchers, scientists, educators and advocates to highlight innovations and discuss best practices for promoting the health and well-being of the LGBTQ community and to reduce social isolation across the generations. This engaging conference provides countless opportunities for professional development and networking.
Conference Highlights:
-Keynote speakers and breakout sessions by nationally and locally recognized leaders on best practices and innovations in services, research and education.
-Release of the groundbreaking Washington State LGBTQ Equity and Diversity Report by UW Professor Karen Fredriksen Goldsen. UW & Community-Based Partners listed below.
-NIH-presentation by Karen Parker, PhD, Director, Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office, Office of the Director, National Institutes of Health.
-Innovative practice sessions such as Strategies to Address Sexual, Gender, Racial and Ethnic Diversity in Housing and Health by Ruben Rivera Jackman, MNPL.
