This event puts queer Leather women, their partners and guests to the front! If you are a queer Leather woman or an active supporter of the Women’s Leather community, you AND your queer guests are welcome! Come on out, every 3rd Friday at The Cuff Complex in Seattle!

Invited guests do not need to identify as women but must identify as queer and Leather and support the purpose of having centric space. Many of us want a space that simultaneously is FOR women while allowing space for those we care about.

Above all else, this is a space for and by the queer women’s Leather community. While that includes allowing space for the partners and close friends of women, please be respectful of the women-centric nature of the space.

While this event can run past 11:00 pm, the atmosphere can switch on weekends and we may not be able to maintain a woman-centric space later in the evening.

As this monthly event grows, we will have the opportunity to provide space for queer women’s organizations and events to host each month’s social, increasing awareness of events and spaces that might be unknown but of interest to Leather women while providing opportunities to expand, fundraise, and have fun!

Accessibility:

The back patio of The Cuff Complex is an outdoor space on the lower level of the bar. Access can be gained one of three ways. First, out the side door by the pool table, down the ramped “dog run” to the space. There are three large stairs at the bottom of this access. Second, down through the dance floor. This route has two sets of stairs. The third is the side entrance to the dance floor. This is accessible for wheelchairs and motorized equipment but must be requested by staff at the front entrance. If you communicate your needs in advance, we can help facilitate this quicker.

The space is covered from rain and has outdoor heaters but it can get cold. The wood plank floor does have cracks and can be rough on skinnier stiletto heels. The space is generally low-scent due to the outdoor nature but until we are more established, we cannot guarantee scent-free. Even though the space is outdoors, you must go to the side or front entrance to smoke or vape.

The bootblack stand is one large step up with the option to use a chair to help bridge the distance. If you cannot get up to the stand, communicate with the bootblack. Many are more than happy to work in other ways. Always tip your bootblack.
