30th Annual Fremont Solstice Parade
June 16, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Your 30th Parade! Begins at Leary Way NW & 2nd Ave NW and ends at Gas Works Park where the Fremont Solstice Celebration continues through the evening.
Of course, everyone is always invited to witness the spectacle of people-powered ensembles weaving through the streets of Fremont with music, dancers, stilt walkers, floats, and an abundance of breathtaking art.
But for the last 29 years, the soul of the Parade has dwelled in its participants, the artists and volunteers, and what each brings to the streets. Who are these people? They are your friends and neighbors and should be you! Celebrate yourself and your community through your own personal expression of celebration art. Step off the curb and be in the parade! Participation is open to the public. Everyone can be an artist!
And when the last float rolls into Gas Works, the celebration continues. This year’s Celebration at Gas Works Park is a Varieté featuring interactive art, astounding performance, and music to get you moving. A lot to absorb? Kick back and relax with a snack from a selection of food trucks and a beverage from our beer garden. See you there!
