Aloha/Talofa/Bula friends, on November 13th to the 20th we will be celebrating TRANS AWARENESS week. Throughout the week UTOPIA will be hosting varies events to inform/educate/equip our trans and gender non-conforming individuals on issues our community face as a whole.

Our second event for trans awareness week is the “End Homelessness Workshop.”

Regardless of an individuals gender or sexual preference, all people deserve the right to a safe shelter.The homeless epidemic in Washington has run rapid due to the lack of programs specifically designed to meet the needs of transgender homeless youth, UTOPIA will be hosting a workshop to begin conversations and build a better understanding on ways we can assist our community and better serve the homeless.
