Gasoline: A Guided Writing Session for Women + Queer Writers
August 14, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Get ignited. If you’ve attended Assembly Literary Open Mic you should be familiar with the writing prompt at the end of the evening. GASOLINE takes this concept further with a series of writing prompts in the style of a guided meditation provided by Kate Berwanger.
All skill levels are welcome to participate, but this salon is reserved for women, non-binary, and queer writers. The venue is 21+ and this private session takes place upstairs at The Velvet Elk in a cozy den setting.
At the end of your journey, you will have the opportunity to read your piece à la Assembly Open Mic. There is no pressure to share your work.
Limited slots available, so purchase a ticket in advance to guarantee your spot: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4290806
