Queer & Trans Community Potluck
November 21, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join the Reckoning Trade Project and the Lavender Rights Project for intentional LGBTQ+ community time as we:
– Celebrate chosen families and community resilience
– Take time to reflect on the long-lasting impacts of colonialism, white supremacy, and genocide on indigenous peoples and land
– Build connections and share ideas with local change-makers
Food and refreshments will be provided. Community members are welcome to contribute their own dishes if desired.
This event is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.

*This event is not intended to be a celebration of Thanksgiving — rather, we have intentionally planned the potluck to fall around that day in order to embrace and support our community members who may face isolation from family and loved ones, food insecurity, the impact of the nationwide celebration of Thanksgiving, and/or other hardships during this specific time.
