The Seattle LGBTQ Commission, the Seattle Human Rights Commission, the Seattle Women’s Commission, the City of Seattle Immigrant & Refugee Commission, and the Seattle Commission for People with disAbilities are co-sponsoring a candidate forum for the upcoming Seattle City Council elections.

Come learn about your candidates’ stances on important civil rights issues facing Seattle today and ask your own questions! The forum will be moderated by the Seattle Times’ Sydney Brownstone.

This event will take place in the Bertha Knight Landes room of Seattle City Hall and is open to the public, free of charge. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please note: Anyone unable to attend especially due to Rosh Hashanah who wants to still submit an audience question should email Janet Stafford (janet.stafford@seattle.gov) with the text of their question. Seattle Channel will be recording the forum for viewing after the event on YouTube.
