Alice in Wonderland is a childhood classic and introduced us to whimsical, twisted, magical realms. WONDALAND is to Alice in Wonderland as The WIZ is to the The Wizard of OZ. We are putting our twist on Alice’s playground and making it richer, extra melanated, queerer, and sexier. THE WONDALAND BALL calls for us to recreate this fantasy in OUR style.

CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS:

1. LIP SYNC PERFORMANCE: You have just awakened in WONDALAND and not sure how you arrived. You’ve stumbled across the smoking caterpillar and they ask “Who are you?” Show them in an all green effect. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
2. OTA FACE: Royalty is represented in many forms in WONDALAND. You are the descendant of gods and goddesses. Show us which you are. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
3. OTA SNEAKER vs. SNEAKER: Alice, what are those on your feet? In WONDALAND, we only wear bedazzled footwear. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
4. OTA Virgin Runway: You just ate the wrong mushroom and now you need to walk with your oversized accessory. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
5. OTA European Vs. American Runway: The Cheshire Cat (European) and The Royal Flamingo (American) face off in a battle on the royal courts. Bring your full costume and effects. TROPHY
6. OTA BEST DRESSED: You’ve come to tear the whole party up. Bring it as Alice with a twist. TROPHY
7. OTA HANDS Performance: You are approaching the tea party and must perform your way to the table headed by a mysterious figure. Make them serve you your tea. Come in a baby pink look with neon gloves. TROPHY
8. OTA Virgin Vogue: Like the rabbit, you were running late to the ball and messed up your makeup on the way. Bring it in all white. TROPHY
9. OTA Vogue Femme Performance: The Queens of WONDALAND are gathering to show that the queen of hearts is not the only bad bish. Bring it as the Queen of Spades, Clubs, or Diamonds. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
10. OTA SEX SIREN: Bring it sexy and eerie. Come as one of the creatures of WONDALAND and bring the judges a pic of your inspired look. TROPHY
11. OTA BIG BODY: Show us what richness and wealth look like to you. Come through drippin’. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
12. FEMME QUEEN GLAMOUR: Tonight, you are the queen of hearts who rules all of WONDALAND. Show us that you have earned your title. Bring it in all red and white. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
13. BIZARRE: In Wonderland, there was always a tea party. Bring us the entire tea party in your effect. Let your imagination run wild. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE
14. COMMENTATOR VS. COMMENTATOR: Every good fairytale needs a magical story teller. TROPHY
15. RUNWAY AS A HOUSE: Give us the outro to WONDALAND. MAKE the judges want to see the sequel. TROPHY + CASH PRIZE

Doors open at 8PM and categories will start at exactly 10PM. VERY special guests will be announced in the upcoming weeks as well as exact cash prize amounts.

This event is wheelchair accessible and will be ASL interpreted. We ask you to come scent-free or as low scent as you possibly can so that all our guests can safely access this space.
