Success isn’t achieved through a giant leap, but a series of steps towards a common goal. For the last fourteen years, Equal Rights Washington (ERW) has been leading efforts to secure a better future for all LGBTQ Washingtonians.

ERW’s work started with the fight for LGBTQ non-discrimination protections in 2006, domestic partnerships in 2009, marriage equality in 2012, trans healthcare in 2015, and a statewide ban on conversion therapy for minors in 2018. This year we also celebrated the passage of the Uniform Parentage Act to support parents as they begin and grow their families, and De-Escalate Washington’s Initiative 940 to provide all law enforcement officers with additional tools and skills to better keep all communities safe.

Join ERW for this year’s Together for Justice and Equity reception to celebrate our recent wins and share what’s coming up next. Working together we will build the future we want to see for Washington State.

This year’s reception will feature heavy appetizers from Madre’s Catering, beer from Fremont Brewing, and a return of the Pie Bar hosted by the Society of Lucky Mothers. DJ Non-Prophet will be providing the ambiance, and a few remarkable guest speakers you will not want to miss.
