NYC Cabaret Superstar “Lady Rizo” Enchants The Can-Can, April 3

NYC comedienne and chanteuse Lady Rizo first exploded on the New York stage three years ago. New York Magazine has dubbed her as the “Cabaret Superstar” and she has recorded music with Moby and the acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma that was released on her holiday album fearuing Diana Krall, James Taylor and Alison Krauss, just to name a few. She revives original classic pieces by creating vintage arrangements of 80s and 90s pop songs. She’s a dynamic singer, emcee and bon vivant and is the co-creator of the cult caburlesque show “Lady Rizo and the Assettes” in 2005.

Lady Rizo was nominated for an M.V.P.A. for the choreography of his video of “New York, New York” featuring Debbie Harry. Her eyelashes will knock you out of your seat and give you the desire for more. She will be performing ONE SHOW only at The Can-Can, which is located inside the Pike Place Market (94 Pike Street) on April 3rd, 2011 beginning at 8:00 p.m. and running through 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 to $20.00 and can be purchased in advance on brownpapertickets.com.
