The Agency: Flash Mob, Public Spectacle, and Mass Performance Experts brings you another round of the infamous GLEE Flash Mob that received over 1.5 million views on YouTube last year. Flash mobs are a group public dance massacre and holds many resemblances of ‘the time warp’. You should also be aware that this event is NOT sponsored by FOX, but instead is self-funded for people who want to be a part of GLEE and a flash mob. Anyone is encouraged to participate. Last year more than a 1,000 people participated in this flash mob and they are hoping to continue to increase that number. You don’t have to attend all rehearsals because (and this is great) they have online learning video’s. The only required rehearsal is on April 10th. All regular rehearsals are in The Odd Fellows Building in Capitol Hill. Choregraphers Bobby Bonsey and Beth Meberg, from last year, are returning this year for the 2011 GLEE Flash Mob. Check out the schedule below and get ready to do the ‘Flash Mob’. You are only encouraged to attend two rehearsals max and the rehearsal schedule is below. All you need to do is show up and get ready to bounce your buns of steel.
