Check out the World AIDS Day Breakfast promo with Amanda Bearse.

November 14, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

World AIDS Day 2011 is only a few weeks away and four area non-profits are teaming up for the eighth annual World AIDS Day Breakfast on December 1. Gay City Health Project, Rosehedge/Multifaith Works, SASG (formerly Dunshee House) and Seattle Counseling Service will host the event at Washington State Convention & Trade Center between 7:30am and 9am. The event is free but you must register to attend, and a donation is strongly encouraged to support the work of all four of these groups. The keynote speaker for this year’s breakfast will be noted advocate Paul Kawata, executive director of the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) and the emcee will be actress/director Amanda Bearse. The actress, best known for her roles on “All My Children”, “Married With Children” and in the original “Fright Night” film publicly came out in 1993 and is now a part-time Seattle resident with her partner Carrie and their family.

Ms Bearse shot a couple of promotional trailers for this year’s breakfast. Please check it out AND support the World AIDS Day Breakfast on December 1.
