May Day Occupy Protests Escalate

May 1, 2012• bySeattle Gay Scene

It’s May Day and there are protests occurring in Downtown Seattle with potential for it to move up Pike/Pine and down Broadway on Capitol Hill. We know there are some Queer Protesters out there as well. Reports are coming in of windows broken downtown and a heavy police presence forming. The Capitol Hill East Precinct at 12th and Pine is heavily guarded with streets blocked off.

Be safe out there, folks….and, if you got news tips or photos, send them our way: strangeways@seattlegayscene.com
