R Place Is Staying Competitive For September With Wendy Ho and Latrice Royale

Big news from one of Capitol Hill’s oldest nightlife venues….R Place announced plans to bring some name brand entertainment to the club this September including a beloved filthy comedienne/singer and a “large and in charge” drag superstar.

First up: that dirty, dirty girl, Wendy Ho pays a return visit to the Emerald City for two shows at R Place on Thursday, September 6 and Friday, September 7. Ms Ho, best known for her so definitely not safe for work songs like “Poop Noodle” and “Bitch, I Stole Your Purse” will pop in for Thirsty Thursday and Lashes Cabaret as a special guest star. No info on whether advance tickets will be sold for this.

Two weeks later, some fresh Go Go meat (Twink Division) hits Seattle…Jake Bass and two other stars from a reality show we’ve never heard of, “Project Go Go Boy” hit R Place for shows on Friday, Sept 21 and Saturday, Sept 22. The boys will be here for a eat meet and greet and then take the stage to do what they do best…wear underpants and hopefully get some tips.

Then, a week later, the Star Attraction for the month arrives…the divine Miss Latrice Royale returns to Seattle after her triumphant debut at R Place back during Pride. The “Chunky Yet Funky” diva and beloved breakout star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4” will perform Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29. Tickets for these shows go on sale on Tuesday, September 4 at BrownPaperTickets.com. If you missed her in June, you probably don’t want to miss her again…she’s the Real Deal. And, maybe she’ll dish about her upcoming appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars” which begins airing October 22, 2012 on Logo. We’re hoping she lasts a long time on the show…she’s our favorite ex-con drag queen in the world!
