Last Chance For Pre-Show Tickets To “Bump” and “Ghoul”

October 26, 2012• bySeattle Gay Scene

There are MANY Halloween party options for Saturday night, October 27th…after all, it’s the Saturday before Halloween and every venue in town is hosting something spooky and costume related in an effort to lure lotsa money from you. But, the two BIG homocentric options and yearly traditions are Gay City’s annual BUMP party and DJ Disco Vinnie’s SHAKE YOUR GHOUL THING and time is running out to buy advance tickets.

BUMP is back on the Hill after being at The Showbox and since it’s at Neumos this year, it’s an easy destination for LGBTQ revelers…also makes it easy to party hop to and from other events on Capitol Hill including the official BUMP after party at Q, just around the corner. (And, Q will be open to 6am!) This year’s fandango is hosted by the lovely Miz Honey Bucket (sounds like “bouquet”) who also has a brand new album to push and she’s the newest and fastest rising drag performer in town. She’s also going to be joined by a bevy of go go boys not to mention performances from Chandelier Theatre Company’s revival of the Rocky Horror Show…all this, plus the DJ skills of Almond Brown and Spaceotter. Oh, and did we mention the $1000 costume contest?

Here’s some more skinny:

VIP tickets are selling fast, and have limited availability. Included in the price of VIP admission is a dedicated VIP lounge overlooking dance floor, 2 drinks courtesy of Pearl Vodka, a $20 discount from Uber for first time riders, sexy giveaways, delicious bites, complimentary coat check, and the fabulous Seattle Gay Scene photo booth experience.
Saturday, Oct 27 / 9pm – 2am
Neumos (925 E Pike St)
Tickets
General Admission: $30 ADV / $40 Door
VIP: $65 ADV / $75 Door
Advance Tickets on sale at Moe Bar + etix.com
If you’re looking to GET OFF the Hill for your Halloween fun, and party in a very unusual environment, then check out SHAKE YOUR GHOUL THING happening at the Seattle Maritime Museum on Pier 66 down on the waterfront. DJ Disco Vinnie has been hosting this party for YEARS and it just keeps getting bigger and better. This year’s event is VERY drag-o-licious with hostess Mama Tits and performances from Tipsy Rose Lee and Atasha Manila AND some zexy burlesque from the divine, Miss Kitty Baby. Oh, and there will be Go Go boys (duh!) and the photographic genius of Mr. Tim Harmon, aka “The Hill Has Eyes”. PLUS, it’s a benefit for Seattle Counseling Services! It’ll be spooky fun on the waterfront…AND, helping out a vital community service!
It’s happening from 8pm to 2am and you can get your tickets HERE…you have until Midnight tonight to buy advance tickets. Sadly for you, VIP is already sold out, but General Admission tix are still available!
Oh, and Seattle Gay Scene will be at this event, too…yes, we’ll be bopping all OVER the place on Saturday!
We’re tired just thinking about it…
