Get Well Soon, Mr. Turnbull!!

We don’t like it when our friends are sick.

So, we’re sending warm rays of healing power to Arden Turnbull, one of the producing wunderkinds in town with his Sinfinite Productions and the co-creator (with Jimmy Scarpello) of such favorite events as Down n’ Dirty, ElektroPop and this year’s Red Dress Party (and many more) at The Baltic Room and other venues all over town.

Arden started feeling poorly this week and went to Urgent Care and was subsequently hospitalized with some lung problems and we hope he’s up and bopping around in no time. Here’s a message from Arden:

Was having shortness of breath and severe pains when I woke up on Thursday and throughout that day it was bad but had to work so pushed through it….went to zoom care yesterday morning who referred me to Virginia Mason ER for immediate admission…X-rays, ekg which lead to the discovery of my entire left lung being collapsed….so here I am…post procedure chest tube inserted through my rib cage…in Virginia Mason…waiting for lung to hold air on its own. It’s a condition called pneumothorax which happens to younger men who are tall, lean, and fit. It will sadly most likely happen again. As of this morning’s ct scan my lung is still partially collapsed but with breathing exercises today hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow and they will remove tube and send me home. If not however, they will have to operate.

Virginia Mason has been great! Brian has been by my side. Olivia & Donatella visited this morning and brought me smut mags and a trashy romance novel. My room has a beautiful view  so all in all, I’m doing well.
Just scary…Very Scary.
