“Mimosas With Mama” & “Hairspray” Are A Hit…Get Tix NOW!

The Grill on Broadway and Mama Tits collaborated over a year ago to put together the first WEEKLY Sunday Drag Brunch  in Seattle and it’s slowly grown to become one of those “must do” fun events…who doesn’t enjoy brunch and drag queens in daylight lip syncing to the hits of yesterday, today and Tomorrow from “Annie”?

“Mimosas With Mama” and it’s talented cast have become a hit over the course of the last year, but they just ratcheted up a notch with their recent introduction of “30 Minute-ish Hairspray” their second act tribute to the beloved film by John Waters and subsequent Broadway/Hollywood musical version featuring numbers from both the original film and the musical. Audiences are LOVING the show, with Tipsy Rose Lee as an outstanding “Tracy Turnblad” and the rest of the cast playing all the other roles, (including DJ Disco Vinnie playing all the male roles!)

The show has been SELLING OUT every Sunday and tomorrow, April 7 is no exception. Advance ticket sales are closed, but you might be able to get last minute tix at the door…show starts at 1pm! ALSO note, that the lovely Mama Tits and her hubby DJ are taking a Honeymoon trip over April 21 and two other cast members will be absent on the 28th so the divine Robbie Turner will be filling as the hostess for those two weeks with some special guests! AND, they will NOT be doing “Hairspray” those weeks…but, you should still go to check out Miss Turner and the delicious cast that also includes the ridiculously talented Isabella Extynn St.James and Bukkake London.

The full cast will return for the Sunday, May 5th show and “30 Minute-ish Hairspray” will resume at that time and play through the end of June when the troupe will premiere a NEW 30 Minute-ish musical which will very likely debut over Pride Weekend at the Capitol Hill Pride Party on Saturday, June 29. More details to be released closer to that date!
