Oooooh, Gurl….things are gettin’ REAL exciting because Sinfinite Productions has just announced that the realest housewife of all, Atlanta’s NENE LEAKES will be the official hostess for the 5th (almost) annual Seattle Red Dress Party happening Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Fremont Studios. Nene joins the already announced guest DJ, drag diva/porn queenpin CHI CHI LARUE as very special guests for the popular fundraiser which raises big bucks for non-profit groups like Lifelong AIDS Alliance and Gay City Health Project, which aid and advocate for those fighting HIV/AIDS. Sinfinite has also announced that the musical guest for the event will be announced shortly.
As for Ms Nene, it doesn’t matter or not if you actually watch any of “The Real Housewives…” soap operas; y’all know who she is…Nene very quickly became one of the breakout stars from the franchise. Since the show premiered, she has branched out to appear on other shows, including last year’s acclaimed NBC comedy, “The New Normal”. In addition, Nene has become a fierce advocate for the lgbtq community, appearing at dozens of events and fundraisers.
Simfinite and the Red Dress Committee are also announcing that there will some interesting changes to the event, the biggest one being the addition of a second stage featuring local DJ’s and entertainers, including:
DJ Richard J Dalton (c89.5), DJ Lightray (ElektroPOP), DJ Bret Law (Down N Dirty), and DJ L.A. Kendall (Qulture Creative.) Entertainers for the local showcase stage include: Robbie Turner, Jamie Von Stratton, Kitten LaRue, Lou Henry Hoover, and Aleksa Manila. Other changes to this year’s event include the addition of a silent auction, an outdoor area complete with bar and food truck, and the ABSOLUT VIP all-inclusive experience featuring a private on-stage open bar hosted by Gaysha Starr where guests can meet and mingle with Nene Leakes and meet our other headlining and guest entertainers.
