Ugh…the morning after with Vera & Mame.

The week after Pride is also the week of the 4th of July in Seattle and it’s just….awkward. An annoying combo platter of Post Pridal Depression, severe poverty and Pre-Independence ennui. (And, our allergies are fussy.) We’re also a bit tired of drinking, drag queens and djs (no offense to any/all of the above) and could use a good stiff tonic of something crisp and healthful.

Still. It’s Thursday and the 4th is tomorrow so for those of us who didn’t plan ahead to be someplace fabulous for the holiday, let us salvage this week the best we can…with more drinking, drag and djs!!!

Tonight, Thursday the 3rd, you have the usual options of Revolution at The Baltic Room with DonnaTella and Kitty, and/or, HollaBack! at Neighbours with Isaac Scott and guest Jessica Paradisco, and/or whatever it is they do at R Place on Thursdays…
Since it’s the first Thursday of the month there’s also Sex.wav at The Mercury, that secret party at that not so secret club. And, ART down in Pioneer Square for First Thursday.
Otherwise, just stay at home and regret all your excesses from last weekend. Or, pack for your awesome trip to someplace tubular tomorrow…
