Little Nell and Patricia Quinn pop into Bellevue this weekend for “Mad Monster” a con for horror fans.

There are very few weekends in the metro Seattle area without some sort of geeky fan event going on…obviously, the huge numbers of techy, genre loving Fan Boys and Girls who call the Puget Sound area home, are a big lure for hungry promoters looking to peddle new merchandise or chances to revel in older material. This weekend, “Mad Monster” is a fan event happening over in Bellevue at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 900 Bellevue Way NE, that features the usual array of booths, fun events and opportunities to meet stars from your favorite scary films including Phantasm’s creepy Angus Scrimm; They Live’s Rowdy Roddy Piper; several actors from Fright Night including part time Seattleite and out lesbian Amanda Bearse, and THREE original cast members from The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Barry Bostwick, Little Nell and Patricia Quinn will all be on hand for a fun screening of the original film on Saturday night.

Other guests include Peter Criss from iconic rock band KISS and actress P.J. Soles, the co-star of Carrie, Halloween, Stripes and star of the cult classic Rock ‘n’ Roll High School. (If I’d known sooner about this, we would have tried to get intereviews!!!)

The con starts Friday, October 3 and runs through Sunday, the 5th. Tickets are still available!

Who wouldn’t want to “Time Warp” with Brad, Magenta and Columbia? Will Barry “Brad” Bostwick do it in his tighty whities?

Dude was packin’ those drawers back in the day!
