TickTock

TICK TOCK, CLARICE!!!!

You’re rapidly running out of time to snag discounted Early Bird pricing for passes for TWIST: SEATTLE QUEER FILM FESTIVAL, which is just around the corner (October 11 to 21, 2018) and will showcase dozens of LGBTQ films and events. Early Bird pricing ends TONIGHT (Thursday, September 19) so hurry ’cause those prices go up tomorrow, (September 20th) which is also the day to announce the full schedule for TWIST!

Three Dollar Bill Cinema, the producers of TWIST (and many other events throughout the year) will also need zillions of volunteers to make it all happen.

Want to get the inside scoop on TWIST while earning free movie tickets and helping a non-profit? Consider volunteering for the festival! Roles include usher, box office, party assistant, photography, operations, bartender/barback and tech. Head on over to sign up!

They’re having a TWIST Volunteer Info night next Tuesday, the 25th at 12th Avenue Arts on Capitol Hill (at Three Dollar Bill’s offices). Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community as well as meet new people!

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
