Intiman Announces Huge Street Party/Arts Festival For September: “Homecoming”

August 11, 2021• byMichael Strangeways

It’s the big Capitol Hill arty festival/live entertainment/street festival you’ve been waiting for! No, it’s not anything to do with Pride though it is full of LGBTQ art and artists…and, unlike some upcoming events, they’ve just announced a full line up of those artists!

It’s Intiman Theatre’s upcoming HOMECOMING PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL set for September 18 & 19 (Saturday and Sunday) and set to take place on Harvard Avenue between Pike and Pine Streets on Capitol Hill in front of the Intiman Theatre’s new home base at the Erickson Theatre (the theater building just behind the Egyptian Cinema). They even made that cute animation video that shows the layout of the event!

AND, it’s all outdoors so much less risk of passing along certain viruses (but be vaccinated and bring your mask anyway!) There’s over 100 artists scheduled to perform many of them LGBTQ including CarLarans, Cherdonna Shinatra, El Sánchez, Waxie Moon, Betty Wetter, Bosco and many, many more!

Oh, and there will be food trucks, vendors and a beer garden presented by across the street neighbor Life on Mars!

Snag tickets/passes over here at the Intiman website where you can also learn more about their upcoming theatrical season and new home on Capitol Hill.
