Wildrose Pride Kicks Off Today…Plus, Other Options For Women Seeking Pride Fun

Despite today’s awful news about the Supreme Court overturning the right to have an abortion in this country, there are still places/events to check out this weekend in Seattle as the city celebrates its LGBTQ+ Pride.

The obvious big event is the return of The Wildrose’s annual huge outdoor street party outside/inside the beloved women owned queer bar at 11th and Pike Street on Capitol Hill. The Wildrose is one of a handful of lesbian owned bars for the lesbian community/allies left in the country and fans of the bar are thrilled its still around and able to celebrate Pride with the entire community.

The Sapphic Seattle group is producing multiple events including Thursday, June 23rd Isle of Lesbos event at Supernova plus SAPPHIC PRIDE at Chop Suey on Friday, June 24th. Also at Neighbours but happening on Saturday, June 25th, it’s the return of the Pride Edition of the popular HOT FLASH INFERNO event from 6pm to 10pm. It’s $15 at the door.

Of course, there’s also the beloved annual DYKE MARCH & RALLY happening Saturday afternoon/evening from 5pm to 7pm and centered at Seattle Central College’s plaza at Broadway and Pine Street on Capitol Hill.
