Pramila’s In DC But Brady And Tina Confirm They’re Going To GSBA Candidate Forum 2016

September 19, 2016• byMichael Strangeways

gsbaforum16

Just a reminder that Wednesday, September 21 is your chance to meet with local candidates at the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) Candidate Forum. A number of area candidates will attend including candidates for Secretary of State (out gay woman Tina Podlodowski) and candidate for U.S. House Seat representing the Washington 7th Congressional District (out gay man Brady Piñero Walkinshaw).

Noticeably missing is the front runner for the 7th Congressional seat, Pramila Jayapal who took the majority of votes in the August primary. Jayapal will be in Washington but not the state…she’s attending a “Pramila for Congress!” event in our nation’s capitol on Wednesday.

The GSBA event is happening at the Erickson Theatre Off Broadway, 1524 Harvard Ave, between Pike and Pine and behind the Egyptian Cinema.

More info:

Our annual Candidate Forum is back! We are proud to feature some of our region’s most exciting races as the only forum organized by the LGBT community.

Featured candidates include:

State Rep., 43rd District: Friends of Nicole Macri & People for Dan Shih
7th Congressional District*: Brady Piñero Walkinshaw for Congress

*All candidates were invited. Pramila Jayapal and Kim Wyman had scheduling conflicts and were unable to attend.

6 – 7:30 | Forum program

Thank you to our event sponsors at AHF Pharmacy and Victory Fund & Institute and to Precept Wine for the catering.

But, not necessarily in that order.
