This Saturday, August 26th, TUF stages its second summer festival in Judkins Park and the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle’s Central District neighborhood. TUF is “an intersectional female/non­binary/trans collective” and TUF Fest “aims to inspire women, the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized people” with music, art and collaborative workshops.

AND, this is a FREE, ALL AGES event going on from Noon to 10 pm.

What is TUF?

TUF is an intersectional female/non­binary/trans collective w/ HQ in Seattle and a strong presence in digital realms. TUF engages, uplifts, and celebrates its members through collaboration, workshops, skill shares, and events. TUF members include promoters, curators, installation/visual artists, DJs, producers, sound engineers, writers, dancers, and designers.

A celebration of visual art, performance, and education with a goal of uplifting, expanding, and celebrating the female, non-binary, and trans electronic music community.TUFFEST is funded by the Office of Arts & Culture Seattle, and is partnering with Northwest African American Museum which is a TUF Workshops location! This all-ages event is free and open to the public! Judkins Park will be filled with visual art installations, musical performances, workshops, and TUF talks.

From hands-on gear workshops to in-depth discussions to creatively motivational talks, we have a little bit of something for everyone.
