Gaydolf Does Adele…It’s “Gaydele”!

Tony James was first runner up at Pride Idol on Sunday, but he’s the star of “Gaydele” at Can Can Cabaret on Wednesday, June 12.

Oh, my…how do you sell THIS to the public? Here’s an invite we got to an event called, “F’ing With Burlesque 666: Gaydele”…here’s the skinny:

Gaydolf is once again trying to get out of gay hell! How will he do it this time? The devil grants him one opportunity to do so… by singing all of the Adele 21 album in order! However, he has to get his magic mirror involved or his dreams of becoming Adele for a night will never manifest! Come sing along and LOL! Here’s a promo!

OK…so HOW do you sell an event called: “Fucking With Burlesque 666″ or a performance artist named “Gaydolf Hitler”? Yes, it sounds crazy as hell, and, it’s meant to…this is ALTERNATIVE QUEER PERFORMANCE ART, PEOPLE! But, to make it less scary for you, you should know that “Gaydolf” is really a brilliant local singer named /performance artist named Tony James, who was the first runner up in the very mainstream Pride Idol contest at Neighbours, just this last Sunday, and Mr. James and his equally talented co-stars, Krystal Faye and Michael Craft have created a charming and brilliant little cabaret show that’s one part Faust and one part a night in Weimar Berlin and entirely built around Adele’s “21″ album. If you dig weird, alternative stuff you won’t need to be convinced, but for you nervous nellies out there, you really should check it out…the performances will be worth the risk of eternal damnation.
