What She Said: Seattle Pride
June 21, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Kick-start PRIDE week with W Seattle’s “What She Said” panel discussion, as notable LGBT Seattle leaders share their stories of success, challenge and community. The night kicks off with cocktails and conversation before turning to a powerful dialogue from the panel. Moderated by Brandi Kruse of Q13 News, the panelists represent female LGBT leadership across a diverse mix of sectors:
• Danni Askini, co-founder and executive director of Gender Justice League and Trans Pride Seattle.
• Beth Barrett, interim artistic director for Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF)
• Amy Buckalter, founder and CEO of Pulse, the first ever personal lubricant warmer and dispenser.
• Dani Cone, owner and operator of Cone & Steiner, Fuel Coffee and High 5 Pie
Following the panel discussion, guests are welcome to mix and mingle—and to share their own stories with one another in the TRACE Bar and Living Room. We hope you’ll join us in learning from and celebrating Seattle’s LGBT community.
