Working in the entertainment industry has a lot of perks, which is one of the reasons why I absolutely love my line of work. Sunday night Mister Belltown, aka Charlie Savage Monroe dressed me all up (including himself) and headed to the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater in Belltown for Match Game, Sunday night. This was my “Party Monster” moment and it was filled with so many surprises. Match Game was a magnificent kickoff of Cher’s 65th birthday week and GLAMAZONIA graced us with her best Cher head pieces and costumes. If you missed this Cher encounter, then don’t forget to waddle on down to Lobby Bar this Thursday and Friday to get your dose of Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.
Speaking of “Party Monster” moments – I really hope that all of you can make it out to Annex Theatre this Friday night at 11pm for the closing night performance of Women in Peril. If you come you’ll get to celebrate with the cast and crew afterwards with free food, beer and wine. I’ve never drank and partied so much before this show and you don’t want to miss this Party Monster ripping up the stage in our post-show dance-off. What am I going to do with so much time on my hands when this show closes? I just might actually have the time to finish writing that award winning novel that sits in archives on my computer – or perhaps I’ll take that two week nap that needs to be crossed off on my to-do list.
