Stuff To Do. Saturday, August 20: Shirts vs Skins Soccer! Black Pride! Jet City Hoops! Dickslap!

Rain City Soccer is having their big annual “Shirts vs Skins” fundraiser game to raise money for this year’s AIDS Walk. The fun starts at 3pm at Miller Playfield and since it’s such a HOT, steamy day, expect lots of skin bared by those muscle-y, beefy soccer players.

Nubian Pride was a couple of weeks back, but for the LGBTQ POC community, there’s another weekend of prideful fun with Black Pride events being held today, including a BBQ and the “CHOCOLATE KISSES presents ALL WHITE & EMERALD CITY BLACK PRIDE AFTER PARTY!!!” at Waids, 1212 East Jefferson. The party starts at 10pm and the cover is only $7 until 11pm, then goes to $10 after. 21+ of course.

If soccer ain’t your thing, check out Jet City’s Hoop Classic, a national gay Basketball tournament hosted by our own Jet City, and going on all weekend. There’s two events to check out, tonight and tomorrow:

For fans of “Dickslap”, the naughty in your face, “eff you” to the Washington State Liquor Control Board that goes on at The Seattle Eagle, you have an extra special treat tonight as the event will also feature the release of the 2012 Seattle Eagle Calendar. It’ll be on sale ($17) and many of the models will be there and the calendar was shot by Nark who’ll also be spinning with Blondzie and Nic’Nac. Cover is only $5 until 1am AND they’re going AFTER HOURS so it’ll be a late night. Should be a hawt, hawt, zexy, zexy night.
