WARNING: If you haven’t watched the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, go no further! There be spoilers ahead, maties!
It’s been quite an interesting week with RuPaul’s Drag Race considering my quarrel with judge Billy B. and the news about Allstars: RuPaul’s Drag Race coming this fall. Needless to say, the quarrel with Mr. B. is under the bridge (we’re now fremenies and Facebook buddies), and queens I know are submitting their audition tapes for Season Five, and Drag Race fans are voting for their favorite queens for the Allstars show. I voted today for Nina Flowers…who is going to get my vote tomorrow and the next day and the day after that? (You can vote once every 24 hours.)
As for our CURRENT season of RPDR, last week we left the girls saying farewell to Miss Milan who managed to whisper something of a shock into Jiggly’s ear regarding the other girls “gunning for her”. So, what are the girls after with JigglyCaliente Brooks? This is perfect for today’s mini-challenge because RuPaul opened the library for the girls to READ each for their own good. The queen to read the fundamental queries is Latrice Royale, but Sharon Needles came pretty darn close in my book!
Now we jump right in with the girls putting together their magazine covers as editor-in-chief’s. Photographer Jonathan Clay Harris served as the photographer and director in this week’s main stage challenge: magazine covers for the contestant’s magazine that will hopefully soon be at your local Safeway or QFC check out aisle. Overall the queens did a smash up job with the exception of Dida Ritz and JigglyCaliente Brooks, with Willam Belli following a few steps behind them.
God, you don’t know anything about fashion!

Chad Michaels fell short for her magazine cover, but she killed the runway. Chad Michaels looked stunning in all black and there’s nothing wrong with her painted face, regardless what Michelle Visage has to say. Dida Ritz tried, TRIED to give class to the cooking channel but her hair needs more volume than her magazine cover. Sharon Needles did a GREAT job with her magazine cover and I LOVED her runway look, especially her eyes! Latrice Royale nailed her cover with the theme of gossip! (And personally I fucking love her dress, so Santino can suck it!) Michelle has it in for these girls, especially for Willam Belli’s five o’clock shadow. However, Willam was giving nothing but excuses on the runway. JigglyCaliente is no comedian and that’s a necessity for drag. Phi Phi dazzled the judges panel with her cover shoot and her well painted face and form fitting dress on the runway tonight!
Phi Phi O’Hara won the magazine cover challenge!!!
So out of these queens, who did RuPaul put in the bottom two?
JigglyCaliente Brooks and Willam Belli to “Lip-Sync for their Lives” to “Mi Vida Loca” by Pam Tillis. Jiggly was pretty much only standing in one spot while Willam gave the stage a little country walk, and RuPaul sent JigglyCaliente Brooks home! Jersey Shore just got their queen back! Now there are six queens left that are still in the race to become the Next America Drag Superstar. Be sure to check back next week for another issue of “Untucked with Brian”.
