Help Mama Tits get on Season Five of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”

Those cunning producers of LOGO’s hit series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” do a great job of marketing the show…they’ve upped the ante for the casting of the next season of the show with a contest where the fans get to vote to cast one member of the Season Five cast:

The fans get to cast one queen with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that may snatch the Season 5 crown!

Watch the video submissions and vote once a day for your favorite queen hopeful. The top 5 queens will be announced on April 30th for a second round of voting. Voting will end on May 2nd and the top queen, as determined by the fans, will join the cast to compete on the fifth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” slated to air on Logo in early 2013. The lucky winner will be announced on this page in June.

Naturally, we are rooting for Seattle’s very own Mama Tits who’s already submitted an audition tape (along with several other Seattle queens apparently…) and she’s hedging her bets by taking part in this contest as well. You’ve loved her as the former host of “LeFaux”; as an announcer for the Seattle Gay Pride Parade; as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence-Abbey of St. Joan; as a film star in the moving drama, “Heart Breaks Open”; and as the current hostess of ElektroPOP and Mimosas with Mama at The Grill on Broadway. Now, we need to make sure the entire country gets to experience our own “Skyscraper Hostess”. Here’s the pitch from Mama herself:

Apparently the Queens are required to be listed by their boy names, so you’ll find Mama listed as “Brian”.
