Pride Thursday Includes A Buttload Of Drag Divas At ElektroPOP, Dirty Pop & Thirsty

If Thursday is the new Friday, then it should be called Drag-O-Licious Fake Friday because most of tonight’s major events include Drag Divas in one form or the other, and many of them from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

ElektroPOP! at The Baltic Room is going SUPERSIZED this week for Pride with a special guest, a small cover and TWO venues, one for the “grown ups” and one for the kids…

We are SO excited to be able to offer the FIRST EVER all-ages ElektroPOP! event! The Baltic Room will host the 21+ crowd while just around the corner, Melrose Market Studios will open its doors and welcome anyone over the age of 18!

BOTH venues will be showcasing a battle of EPIC PROPORTIONS as two of the worlds BIGGEST pop stars collide…..LADY GAGA vs BRITNEY SPEARS!

Featuring the WORLD FAMOUS talent of the one and only DERRICK BARRY (www.DerrickBarry.com) performing as BOTH Britney Spears AND Lady Gaga! Derrick is best known for his appearances on the hit TV show America’s Got Talent as well as music videos; Katy Perry’s “Waking Up in Vegas” and Eminem’s “We Made You.” Derrick makes his ElektroPOP! Pride appearance direct from Las Vegas where he performs as a regular cast member of Frank Marino’s “Diva’s Las Vegas” when not touring the globe!

Derrick will be performing as Britney and Gaga in BOTH venues giving EVERYONE a chance to experience his INCREDIBLE celebrity illusion LIVE!!! You will NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES!

DJ’s Skiddle, PBear and Lightray will be in the house along with hostess Mama Tits bopping back and forth between the two venues…and, don’t panic about the cover: it’s only $5 AFTER 10pm at The Baltic Room and $10 for Melrose Market. That’s cheaper than a movie, people.

Up the street at Thirsty Thursdays at R Place, they’re offering a chance to see TWO RPDR stars before their sold out shows on Friday and Saturday. Latrice Royale hits Seattle and R Place for those two shows but tonight, her co-stars will be at Thirsty. Jujubee and Jessica Wild are hitting town a day early to entertain the troops with the regular crew at R Place…expect the usual drink specials, go gos and drag stars. And, unless you have tix for the big Friday/Saturday shows with Latrice, this is your only opportunity to see Jujubee and Jessica.

A bit further up the street at Neighbours, you can see a really big and beloved RPDR star in her public Seattle debut: the one and only Chad Michaels is bringing Cher-like fierceness to Dirty Pop with DJ Drew G and hostess Aleksa Manila. The fun starts at 9pm and not a clue as to the cover charge; Neighbours apparently likes to hold that info close to its vest ’cause it’s not on the poster/website. We adore Chad Michaels and we wish this show had been better marketed…in fact, we wish Chad was headlining at PrideFest because he is AMAZING!
