The Green Lantern Is A Green Fairy And We’re Not Talking Absinthe!

June 1, 2012• byDC Williams

Not to be out done by rival comic book publisher, Marvel (who recently had two of the male X-Men get engaged and also has a lesbian Batwoman in their stable of superheroes), DC announced today that Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern, is GAY!  Gay, Gay, Gay, Gay, GAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!

So there you go.  A good week for gays and a very bad week for hate groups such as One Million (yeah, right) Moms.  They have their million support panties in a bunch over this recasting of Scott’s sexuality but, as Towleroad reports, had to delete their related posting on Facebook due to the overwhelming number of pro-gay comments.

I stopped reading comic books a very long time ago but maybe I need to revisit the form.  You can read all about Alan Scott’s new fagulous transformation here.
