Do You Like Ridiculously Talented People Singing? Check Out “New Voices” TONIGHT!

The ridiculously talented Kirsten DeLohr Helland is just one of the many terrific performers at tonight’s “New Voices 14” at the Erickson Theater on Capitol Hill.

Time goes so quickly…it seems like just yesterday that theater impressario Brandon Ivie’s bi-annual musical performance series “New Voices” was just a toddler…and, now it’s entering puberty as it turns 14 with tonight’s TWO big shows at the Erickson Theater on Capitol Hill. Mr. Ivie must be a proud parent as his baby emerges into adulthood…though coping with hormones, emerging pubes and teen acne must be a bit stressful for him.

Fortunately, his mega talented cast of mostly super young local stage performers singing mostly new songs from mostly new/young musical theater songwriters will keep him calm and stress free. And, New Voices is also a huge treat for an audience eager to see adorable young performers belt out exciting new works of music. It’s a juicy wet dream of a show for the musical theater nerd and a chance to see up and coming performers strut their stuff at a fraction of the cost of checking them out at a pricey show at the 5th Avenue or the Village Theater.

Take a look at this edition’s line-up:
