Gay City Health Project just doesn’t provide vital health services for Seattle’s gay male community, including confidential HIV testing…they also do a lot of fun, arts based stuff as well, including their popular literary project, “Gay City Anthologies” now at its fifth volume. Editors Evan J. Peterson and Vincent Kovar are busy editing the newest edition, the spookily themed “Ghosts in Gaslight, Monsters in Steam”, which should be published by June. But, not only does it take a big gay village to write and edit an anthology, it also takes $$$$, so to complete their mission, a Kickstarter campaign has been created to raise the necessary funds. It’s a small goal: $1200 and they’re already half way there but they need to raise all of it by May 22, 2013. Dig into your piggy banks and help them out….go here to check it out and send them a check. (Ask your Grandma what a check is…)
Here’s a cute project video from Mr. Kovar and Mr. Peterson talking about the book and why you should help out.
Adorbs.
In a spooky sort of way…
