Seattle Red Dress 2014 Release Names Of All Talent

January 14, 2014• bySeattle Gay Scene
Wow...that's some line-up.

Wow…that’s some line-up.

It’s a very short period of time away…the 2014 Seattle Red Dress Party benefiting area AIDS/HIV support groups, Gay City Health Project, Inspire Youth Project, Babes Network and The Pride Project is happening Saturday, February 8, 2014 and once again it’s over at the divine event space, Fremont Studios. The SRDP committee has been releasing names of performers for the last few weeks with the majority of the names announced being more local: local drag divas Ben DeLaCreme and Gaysha Starr; DJ Bret Law. Those names were followed by some out of town talent including DJ Breezy, headlining DJ Grind and the biggish name hostess, MICHELLE VISAGE from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

New York Aerialist trio MANTRYX will dazzle overhead while recording/performing stars THEA AUSTIN and new Australian sensation BETTY WHO will rock the mainstage. And, drag diva SHOKRA will be paying a return visit to the Seattle Red Dress Party stage.

From today’s announcement:

Rounding out our entertainment for the evening we have just announced that SHOKRA will be returning to perform for us once again and BETTY WHO will be headlining our main stage!!!

You will probably remember that Betty Who’s song “Somebody Loves You” was the soundtrack to the viral Home Depot proposal video! She will be performing some of her new music as part of her US tour at the fundraiser on the main stage. Please check out her website and the Home Depot video if you haven’t already!
