April 11, 2014• bySeattle Gay Scene

MoWaveDay1BAnner

The big par-tay (if you’re not a Bear in town for Spring Thaw) would be the first night of the Mo Wave Queer Arts Festival which kicks off the music tonight at Chop Suey with headliner CHRISTEENE plus Ononos (SEA), Dust Moth (SEA), Hot Fruit (OLY), Death Metals (SEA), and L’Orth (SEA). Queen Mookie is tonight’s host. Advance tix are gone but day of show tickets available here or at door tonight.

If you aren’t in the mood for that much live music or the weakass drinks at Chop Suey, then there’s SHADE down at The Seattle Eagle with DJ Riff-Raff and the usual crowd of rowdies. Also: strongass drinks and go go boys in the Cage.

For multi-cultural entertainment there’s FIRE at Dahlak Eritrean Cuisine, 2007 S State Street from 10 pm to 2 am. More info:

Join us the 2nd Friday of every month for one of the hottest Multicultural Queer and Trans* Dance parties in Seattle. Your favorite Lezzy DJ: DJ Lawgurl, will be giving you the latest and greatest in HIp Hop, Reggae, R&B, and Old School Music to keep you on the dance floor all night!

Here’s the details……

WHAT: Lots of Queer and Trans* folks shaking what their mamma gave them:)

WHEN: Friday April 11th 2014

WHERE: Dahlak Seattle

HOW MUCH: FREE before 10:30, $7 before 11, $10 after: 11pm
