Our Beloved Adele Returns To Seattle In July

December 14, 2015• byMichael Strangeways

Adele

Our favorite current British songbird, ADELE, just released her third album, “25” to huge acclaim and big sales, and her big TV special airs tonight on NBC. “Adele Live in New York City” was just filmed at Radio City Music Hall and the hour long special will feature her hits as well as behind the scenes footage. It airs at 10 pm.

Also just announced: Adele’s first North American tour in five years which opens July 5th in St. Paul and continues through November 15, 2016 and includes….two nights at Seattle’s Key Arena on July 25 & 26, 2016.

Yes, we know all you Adele fans are stamping your little feet in joyous glee. Hopefully you haven’t spent all your money this month on Xmas gifties because tickets go on sale this Thursday December 17 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased at the KeyArena Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone toll free at (800) 745-3000. (All tickets subject to applicable service charges and fees.  Dates and times subject to change without notice.)

For the millions of our readers across the continent, go to live.Adele.com/north-america/ on Thursday to buy tickets for your neck of the woods. ALL tickets for this tour go on sale at the same time.

For all you weird Adele haters out there, (how can you hate Adele? I don’t get it…) you can go suck it.

Here’s Adele being sneaky and POSING as an Adele impersonator at an open call audition in the UK. It was a prank she did with Graham Norton. It’s pretty brilliant.

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
