We Love The New Lizzo/Missy Elliott Team Up: “Tempo”

March 22, 2019• byMichael Strangeways

LizzoTempo

So much Lizzo love here…she just dropped her new single, a collaboration with icon Missy Elliott. Check it out.

And, it looks like Lizzo’s April show at The Showbox is sold out…she’s also headlining the Capitol Hill Block Party in July. We’re not big fans of CHBP; it’s a messy clusterfuck that mostly caters to middle aged East Siders than actual Capitol Hill residents (and, fucks over local businesses not part of the festival who lose customers/money over the weekend) but we digress. It’s one way to hear/see Lizzo.

We’d MUCH rather have her headline a Seattle Pride concert but…no one producing Pride events can seemingly pony up that kind of money….

Sigh.
