New Year’s Eve With Guy Branum!

November 21, 2019• byMichael Strangeways

Resolutions we can commit to!

Why not spend New Year’s Eve with the very funny out gay comedian GUY BRANUM? He’s taking the stage at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center Theatre on Tuesday, December 31st for TWO big shows at 8pm and 10:30pm.

Guy is best known for his many appearances on “Chelsea Lately” (as “Staff Homosexual” which is frankly unlikely since it was a TV show and TV is FULL of homospecial people…) and on “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell”. He also hosts truTV’s “Talk Show The Game Show” which he co-created and like every other funny, smart comedian on the planet, he has his own podcast “Pop Rocket”.

Ya might have even bought his very funny book, My Life As A Goddess, a collection of side-splitting and illuminating essays which was quoted as being “Wickedly smart, funny and witty” by Kirkus Reviews and made NPR’s 2018 Good Reads List and Entertainment Weekly’s Must List.

It also had a very funny cover.

Early and late show options available. The late show includes a drink ticket for some bubbly from the bar, and a countdown and balloon drop at midnight.

Grown up fun for EVERYONE!

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
